Vet with additional small animal surgery qualifications

Claire has worked with many of the team at Chippenham before in previous roles, so it’s a bit like getting the ‘old gang back together’.  She builds great relationships with her clients and treats your pets as she does her own.  She’s hopeful that any dogs who visit will be a little less muddy than her own Golden Labrador who loves nothing more than getting as muddy as possible!

Originally from Newcastle, she once revived a seal which had been brought in from Hartlepool.  Despite being young and weak, it managed to escape its cage and poo everywhere!  Did you know that seal poo has a scientific name and is actually called scat?

Outside work, she is a bit of a daredevil.  She’s been caving and rafting in the Abel Tasman National Park, New Zealand and she loves canoeing and walking.  She might be terrified, but she’ll always give it a go.

Claire has additional qualifications in small animal surgery, so you know that your furry friends will be in safe hands.  Having previously worked as an emergency vet, there’s not much that she hasn’t had to deal with where animals are concerned.
