Vet
Having lived and studied locally – she graduated as a vet from Bristol in 2009 – Kate has worked with many of the Peacock Vets team previously and enjoys the great team spirit. She relishes all aspects of veterinary care and has an interest in ultrasounds.
Outside of work she loves trail running and will think nothing of running 10km across wild countryside, often raising funds for charity. Enjoying growing her own fruit and veg, she also volunteers at her children’s school’s Gardening Club. Another Labrador owner in the team, Kate has a ball-obsessed, playful, and naughty young Labrador! She has a love of all wildlife and particularly loves bumblebees, which, alongside dogs, are her favourite animals.
Kate says one of the best parts of working for Peacock Vets is the way she is able to promote not only the health of pets, but that of nature, too.
Our trusted reviews.
Highly recommend. Friendly and helpful, both the reception staff and vet. Competitive prices too. Helped us out with an AHC for travel to France at short notice along with medication. Will be our 1st choice vet from now on. Thank you!
Mabel's favourite vets ever. Fantastic pet plan and great teef after her dental treatment. Arnie likes it too! 🐾🐾
We take our cat to see Veerle the holistic vet who practices out of the surgery. Veerle is excellent and the staff at the surgery are so lovely. Great!
Excellent local vets. Easy to make appointments, good veterinary care and reasonable costs.
Have taken our Maine coons here since babies and the staff are really caring and helpful. Nothing seems too much trouble
Well-run vet's surgery with experienced and knowledgeable staff. How lovely to support an independent vet, rather than a huge company with inflated costs and huge overheads!
Fabulous service, Iris and her team are lovely. Very caring and welcoming. Our dog Teddy is quite nervous when visiting the vets but they go above and beyond to make the experience a good one. Would highly recommend.
Really great team, been fantastic with our pup. They actively encourage 'happy visits' in order to get your dog to have positive association with going to the vet which really helps when our little dude isn't much of a fan of needles.
